"Oh, that stinks," Cat said, remembering fondly back to her first year at Trenton. She had liked it a lot. But then there was another pang in her mind that remembered how innocent everyone had been, and how everything had been absolutely normal and there WEREN'T people getting killed by ghosts and the administration wasn't completely blockheaded and...
Cat, stop ranting, she told herself. "Tell him that first year is certainly the best, so he should appreciate it a lot," she mentioned with a small grin.

Cat nodded. "That's good," she said as cheerfully as possible. Trenton needed some more tough people around. The new kids were very reluctant to get involved with these ghosts, and although Cat wasn't going to try recruiting Lynne's little brother, if he wanted to he could help them, which would be good.
