Adrian bowed his head and retreated back into the shadows, dissapearing into the shadows. However it was not long until he reappeared, but this time he was not alopne. Around him there were amny pale, sickly ghosts, children of the old, dressed like they would have done so many years ago. All their lifeless eyes were on the foolish, living children, glaring at them. They seemed sickly, full of hatred and anger. Nathaniel sensed it from his was sitting and shivered. This was truely and horrow story.
"I've come with new friends now," sneered Adrian, witha hint of bitterness and malice.

Cat's jaw dropped. She didn't actually expect there to be any more of the ghosts. "Who are you?" she asked tactlessly, her eyes still wide in shock.

They simply stared at them, through their cold and lifeless eyes. "Children," they said in this ghostly, cold tone. They looked around, their clothes ragged like a child in some Charles Dickinson novel. Adrian, instead, had a proud smirk on his face.
Nathaniel was bewildered as he shook his head before letting his eyes snap open once more. "What?" he stuttured.

Cat tried to say something, anything, but her mouth was frozen in shock. Instead, she just gaped at the new ghosts. I must be insane... she thought sadly.
Davey broke into a bout of maniacal laughter. "Don't act so shocked, you couldn't have actually believed it was only us all this time! Where would we have learned all of these fancy tricks?"

"Yeah, i mean they were all helping us of course," Adrian pointed out, chuckling under his breath.
Theowin was utterly speechless. She had not been expecting this, she would say, as her eyes were wide in fear and shock. Who were they? They had not answered Cat's question properly. Her eyes wondered up to look at them. They seemed to empty, so dead, so lifeless, however they were ghosts. They were pale children from everytime in history. She shivered as she spoke finally, regaining her voice. "who are you?" she asked, hoping that they'd answer properly this time.

"We are ghosts," the raspy voices of the children said, sending a shiver up Cat's spine. One of the ghosts, a small girl, stepped forward. "I died three hundred years ago in this very room," she told the small group in an eerie voice. Her translucent eyes were bloodshot and very red. Unconciously, Cat inched closer to Reuben.

Liam stared at the new ghosts. Oh great, more trouble He thought. Liam glared at the ghosts one by one. "How did you die?" He asked quietly."

"Murdur," the girl hissed hoarsly, as she turned away and vanished, vanishing into the air, amongst all the rest, following her into the abyss of hell. And soon there was nothing there but Davey and Adrian who had a satisfied smirk on their faces. "Satisfied now?" Adrian said, a smile full of malice and disdain playing on his lips.

Cat trembled with fear. She already knew that these ghosts here could kill people, but the thought that any of these ghosts could kill them at any possible moment twisted her stomach into knots. She clenched her hands together in her lap and took a breath to calm herself down. "No, I'm not satisfied," she stated bravely. "You haven't answered our question straight. All you've done is added more questions into the mix."

Adrian looked at her, a smirk on his face. "What was the question again? I forgot sorry," he said, his voice dark and fully of mockery.

Jason was mesmerised by the ghost, their longing eyes and translucent skin. He reached out a hand towards the nearest one, a small child in ragged clothing, a ghostly teddy bear clutched in its hand. "Who did this to you," he murmurred.

THe ghost child raised a finger to her pale, ghostly lips and stared at them, her eyes wide and somewhat fearful. "Hush. Secrets are rest remained untouched," she said in this hoarse voice, one full of ghostly coldness that made Nathaniel shiver.

Cat felt as though someone had just taken a snowball and stuffed it down her back. This was just so creepy.

The ghosts vanished for the last time, the child vanishing and leaving them. They were once more elft alone with Davey and Adrian. Just like they had been in the beginning. Nathaniel turned to Davey and Adrian slowly, he face colourless. "So the point of this was? To scare us off even more?" he asked.

"The point was to show you what you'll look like if you keep asking these questions," Davey said menacingly.
If anyone had cared to notice, a small instruction on the bottom of the instruction sheet read, 'If the ghosts begin to be hostile or angry, stop the seance immediately. It is dangerous and there is a large chance of injury or death if you commence.'
But of course, no one had read it because they were too focused on the two ghosts floating right in front of them, and Cat's hand was covering that particular point as she clasped the instructions.
