''YOU JUST ARRIVED?? Ahem, sorry, I mean..., you just arrived?.'' asked Jessica, first shouting and next keeping her voice down. She used to react that way to surprising news, she could not help it. ''Oh, well, then I'll have to explore this school too...anyway that's part of the fun. Hum, yeah I also tought trouble-making was fun, nearly all the students did. But the teachers...'' she shrugged, as if troublemaking was the most innocent and correct thing to do. ''...they ab-so-lu-te-ly lacked sense of humour.'' Jessica said, emphasizing each syllable. ''Although maybe it was coz I had my sight set on them. Who knows...'' she stared into space, grinning proudly.

Leilah smiled sheepishly and nodded. "Really? I don't know much of the art of trouble making. I don't know....i'm not so sure about it though," she said in a soft and serene like voice.

''Not sure about what?'', asked Jessica in a surprised tone, ''I mean...I don't only do it for fun...I always have my reasons...or sometimes, anyway.'' She remained silent for a moment, staring blankly down to the ground. Then she smiled at Leilah. ''Hey...I never worried about troublemaking being right or wrong...How did you do that...? You actually made me think about it! I can't believe this..."

She grinned michevously and lowered her book. "That's my way of making trouble," she said mysteriously.

''Hum, that's interesting...But you don't look like the kind of person who makes trouble!-No, wait, but neither do I, and that's exactly the point!!'' Jessica said happily, as some sort of conclusion. She inmediatly thought Leilah was someone she wanted to be friends with.

leilah chuckled. " The art of jading is quite a mystery, do you think not?" she asked, putting on the voice of some snobby women from the time of jane austen.

Jessica let out a tiny laugh ''Yeah...quite a mistery...Hey you're good at acting!'', she observed, ''Do you like theatre?''

“Yes, I like theatre, but I’ve never really thought of going into to it,” she said quite serenely, putting on a slight curious smile as her mind wandered off, as she tried to picture herself on stage acting some Shakespearean play.

''Why not? It would be- no, you would be great!'' Jessica had always overestimated people's abilities (in most of the cases she was right) because she believed you only needed a bit of self confidence to do anything you could think of. ''You have an auditorium in this school, right? Hm, I would like to go there one day...'' she smiled in a such a way one couldn't know if she wanted to go there to act or to blow up the building.

“I think we have one,” Leilah said, thinking about it, her mind drifting off, until it returned and she came to met Jessica’s eyes again. “We should go there one day. It might be interesting as I have never been there myself,” she confessed, her eyes sparkling with this curious eagerness.

''You haven't?'', Jessica asked, surprised, ''Then we must go one day. Man...this school is bigger than any other I've been to. And I've studied in lots of schools, trust me...''

Leilah nodded, blinking slightly and brought her knees to her chest and wound her arms around them."Yes it is," she whispered and started to hum this little song she had once picked up.
