He probably would. it wasn't that easy just to simply give up smoking. It was an addiction that already ran through his veins. Poisoning them. He lowered his head and gaze, his eyes wondering down. "It's not that easy to give up an addiction, Cat. You must know that before you try and help me. For me it's like solving the impossible, but nonetheless I'll try however hard it may be. But you must comprehend that if i do, go out and buy and packet of ciggarettes, is that i haven't betrayed you or anything. It's just...this urge. Like one part of my mind say's ai shouldn't and the other is telling i should. Something that part that says i should will win. Cat, if you find me smoking it's not because I've betrayed you or anything....it's just my addiction," he said and sighed sadly.

"I know it's not easy but you have to try," Cat said sternly. She was underestimating the power of an addiction, yet she didn't know. She thought it wouldn't be easy, but she certainly didn't know what lengths addicted people went to to get cigarettes. Earnestly, she looked him in the eyes, even though she knew he couldn't see. "We could try a smoking patch or gum or something, Cas," she suggested.

"They don't tend to work," he pointed out grimly. Cat didn't seem to notice what ordeal he was taking on. This was an actual addiction, one that was hard to over rule. And Cat had just put him in an ever so difficult situation.

"Do you have any better suggestions?" the naive redhead asked her friend, crossing her arms again. She didn't know that she was cornering him, she just thought she was making things better. Cat crossed her arms and sighed miserably. Why did this have to be so hard?

"Yeah! For you to stop bugging me!" he said harshly, quite coldly and loudly. His face suddenly turned colourless as he realised what he had just said to one of his best friends. He stepped back and hung his head, clearly ashamed of what had just come out of his mouth. "Sorry...I didn't mean too say that, Cat. It just....came out...," he said in a low voice.
